Meet Empty Spaces

Meet the agents doing the finance work.

Our agents connect to your financial systems, work through recurring tasks and prepare results for your team to review. See how it works.

The launch film (1 minute, 19 seconds): A month-end close done by hand in spreadsheets, then the same close with our agents: the checklist, tie-outs, exceptions and entries prepared for approval, then FP&A questions, a hiring scenario and the board report. They prepare the work. You decide.

How the work gets done

From scattered records to work ready for review.

A reconciliation, an accrual or a variance explanation: each goes through the same five stages, and your team decides before anything changes.

  1. Start

A task opens on its own: when your close checklist reaches it, on its schedule, or when a document lands in a shared inbox.

  2. Gather

Our agents read what the task needs where it lives: your ERP, bank, cards, email and your team's files.

  3. Work

They follow your procedure step by step: match, calculate, investigate, and write down what they found.

  4. Review

The result comes to a named reviewer with its evidence attached. Nothing is posted until they approve.

  5. Complete

Approved work goes back into your systems, and every step stays on the record.

One workflow

See what happens when an account doesn't reconcile.

At the March close, accounts payable is 7,200.00 short of the vendor subledger. Our Close Agent finds out why, attaches the evidence and prepares the fix for the Controller to approve.

Illustration: the March 2026 tie-out of 2000 Accounts payable in Autonomous Close. The ledger in NetSuite holds 904,160.00 and the vendor subledger 911,360.00, a difference of 7,200.00. The Close Agent matches every open item but one, invoice INV-88213 from Brightwater Freight for 7,200.00, and finds it posted to 2100 Accrued expenses, because the vendor's posting group points there. It attaches the invoice, the vendor subledger, the 2100 ledger detail and the vendor record, and prepares journal entry RB-3F2A1C, debit 2100 Accrued expenses and credit 2000 Accounts payable, 7,200.00, for Dana Ruiz, Controller, to approve. Once approved it is posted to NetSuite on 2 April, and 2000 ties to the subledger at 911,360.00.
