Financial close

Close the books in days, not weeks.

Our autonomous agents reconcile accounts, investigate exceptions, prepare entries and keep the close moving, before your team has to chase the work by hand.

An illustration of the March 2026 close on business day 1: six account reconciliations, four of them tied, a $7,200.00 payables difference under investigation, an $18,600.00 accrual proposed, and two items waiting on the Controller.

Start the close before month-end.

Our agents move the work forward every day of the month, so month-end is a review of what's left rather than a backlog.

The close, task by task.

Six parts of the month-end our Close Agent prepares before anyone asks. Open one to see what it does and what it leaves behind.

  • ReconciliationsMatch bank, card, payroll and subledger activity against the GL.
    What our agent does

Pulls both sides live, matches line by line, and prepares the workpaper with every unmatched item listed and explained.

  • Exception investigationTrace unmatched transactions and gather supporting evidence automatically.
    What our agent does

Searches the ledger, the subledgers and the inbox for the records behind an unmatched line, and says what it found and what is still missing.

Worked example

One exception, from bank line to approved entry.

An AWS charge clears the bank in March, but nothing reaches the ledger. This is what our Close Agent does before anyone goes looking.

14 March. A $12,480.00 debit from Amazon Web Services clears the operating account. There is no matching posting in the general ledger.
  1. Finds the debit on the bank feed while reconciling 1010.Agent
  2. Searches the ledger: nothing posted to 6120 Cloud hosting, or anywhere else, for that amount.Agent
  3. Finds AWS invoice INV-2026-0314 in the AP inbox: same amount, same date.Agent
  4. Concludes the charge was paid but never recorded: a missing posting, not a mismatch.Agent
  5. Prepares JE-4471 with the bank line and the invoice attached.Agent
  6. Routes it to the Controller, who approves it as proposed.Controller

Why this entry

The invoice and the bank debit agree to the cent. Nothing was posted in the period, so the charge is missing from the ledger, not mismatched.

Faster doesn't mean uncontrolled.

Every entry arrives with its evidence and waits for the person your policy names. The record shows who prepared it, who approved it and what was posted.
